Kawasaki mechanic?

Postby AllenTron10R » Fri Jul 25, 2014 10:10 am

So i think my ZX10R falls into a recall for a leaky crank case/starter seal. if i was to take this to a dealer to have the work done, where would you guys recommend. the local dealers here in the QC seem suspect i've delt with them in the past and they couldn't even order me the right part i asked for. my dealer back in Oklahoma doesn't seem to competent either. so i'm consulting with you guys on your massive knowledge in said matters :)

I've had some poor customer service experiences locally with Brenny's and Fun Mart.

While I have not had service done at either of these myself, I have heard good things about Sindt in Dubuque and Iowa City Motorsports.
With enough profanity, you can accomplish anything.

I had a recall issue taken care of at Iowa City Motorsports. They treated me well. Either that or McGrath Powersports in Cedar Rapids. It's a little further away but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

So far the guy over at MD racing in Orion, IL has been ok with me. It just one guy so I would imagine that he could get backed up pretty easy.
