Saturday night 1/3/15

Postby TLSR381 » Thu Jan 01, 2015 3:40 pm

Shagz and I want to play some games....board games! Saturday night, come anytime after 4pm. We'll have beverages and some snacks, however feel free to bring a snack to share. We will order some pizza or chinese for dinner.

Game possibilities include: Cards Against Humanity, Pandemic, Tsuro, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, a few others, and anything that uses decks of cards. Feel free to bring anything else you'd like to play.

Message one of us to RSVP so we have an estimate for food, and let us know if you have a beverage request.
What the world needs now, is more purple and lime green.

Not saying we can come, but thought I'd share a drink recipe we tried out over NY's. The Grinch: tasty yet powerful.

6oz peach schnapps
6oz 151 rum
6oz Blue Curacao
24oz OJ
8oz Sprite

Sorry, I'm going to have to pass. Bit of a drive, and Supercross opener tonight.

But, wouldn't mind coming down for a weekend in the near future. Or, I want to go to the Chicago bike show.

Just the regular Progressive show that tours the country every year, nothing particularly special.
With enough profanity, you can accomplish anything.

Yep, it also comes here to MN. But, I might make a weekend out of Chicago. Or, I could just go to MN, and save money for trackdays this year. I'm sure two nights of hotels will pay for 1.5 trackdays. ;)

Been to the bike show in Chitown quite a few times. From a vendor standpoint its gone downhill, focusing on cheap chinese leather sellers. that said they have nearly every helmet manu there which is great for trying on all brands to find what works best for you. There are usually some bike vendors too for trying out their rides. Ducati, Eric Buell, some electric manus is what I recall. Also they usually have one or two good speakers there talking about track stuff. Kevin Schwantz was there last time I went. Oh, and there's a stunt show too.

We won't be doing it this year, though.

Well, looks like Chicago is out for me. I have existing plans, so most likely will be the MN show again. Also, I just purchased a GA ticket to MotoGP at CotA. :banana-rock:
