D-Store trip Saturday

Postby shagzomatic » Wed Aug 03, 2016 2:15 pm

ShagzWife & I are heading over to Chicagoland Saturday to pick up her suit from getting altered at Leathers 4 U, then hit the D-Store to look at some boots. We have a couple seats available in the car if anyone's looking to bum around for the day and loiter at the D-Store with us. :)

What in the world is the D-Store? :dunno:

Dianese? I didn't even realize there was one in Chicago. I could get myself in trouble there... I'd be up for any future visits!

Fun store, always like chatting with the staff. Kid in a candy store type of place for sure. :crown:

It's tax free weekend in the QC so doubt I can go but wish I could

No BF or autobahn racing this weekend? Was hoping there would be for a little adventure.

Autobahn next weekend, Blackhawk the weekend after that. If you're looking to go to one, I'd recommend Blackhawk over Autobahn -- it's far better for spectating. We're racing Autobahn's north course this round, so you basically only get to see the front straight as a spectator.

I probably shouldn't be allowed to go there again. Told the wife "we're just going there to find boots for you, don't need to look at anything else"......and came home with a pair of gloves. Came really really close to trying on a Guy Martin replica AGV helmet too, until I finally came to my senses.

Glad I didn't go. I need new street boots but want to buy used ones. If I went I'd bet I would have been weak too.

To be fair, I did actually need gloves. I had mostly been looking at Held and was going to wait until after I put new brakes on the truck, though. So...I'd only call it half a whoopsie. ;)
