My name is John; AKA JohnnyRocket.

From Burlington. Iowa.

Stumbled across this forum on a Google search for something??

I have been doing track days with SportbikeTrackTime since 2011.

Ridden at Grattan (favorite track/home track far from home), Autobahn, Gingerman, Barber, Road America, and Road Atlanta.

Do most of the members on this forum do track days?

Where is the favorite "CLOSE" track to the QCA in your opinions?

What all track organizations operate in/around this area?

Sorry for all the questions but it's nice to see more of my kind a little closer to home.

Welcome!! Yes, most of us here do track days. Mostly at Blackhawk Farms. Last year some members did Road
America and Heartland Park. Motovid at Blackhawk is our usual stop. We are a small group but growing slowly as more people get the bug. Keep in touch!

:welcome:

A couple others on here have gone to MAM and Putnam as well, but those are about as long of a haul as Grattan or Gingerman would be. Blackhawk Farms is definitely the closest...unless you count Iowa Speedway, but I don't think they're going to have bike days there again.

Motovid.com is our usual, and a couple of us here are on staff, but Midwest Track Day also does days in the area at tracks like Blackhawk and Putnam -- a lot of old NESBA folks in the MTD group.

I see there is a gathering on 12/18.
the QCSB Bike Night?
Where is this to take place?
We may try to make it up to meet some others with similar addictions.

Usually I end up choosing and posting the location on the Monday of the event week. I'll try to get this one put together by the end of this week, though.

How far away is Grattan for you?
