FREE track days from MotoVid and QCSB

Postby shagzomatic » Wed Mar 19, 2014 4:04 pm

:banana-dance: As I mentioned previously, we're going to be giving away free track days from MotoVid for each of their events this year. :wheelie:

Here's how it'll work... I'll start a thread in this section for each event, with details of how the giveaway will work for that event. It might be a simple drawing, you may have to go take a photo or do something, or something else -- I'll try to change it up and keep things interesting. Winners will be announced in each thread, and I'll send the winner a code for use on MotoVid's website to sign up for your track day.

Just because you've entered the drawing for an event doesn't mean you can't register until after the drawing -- if you've already registered for a day, MotoVid will work with you to make sure you're not stuck with a free day you can't use.

THE RULES:
  • Any single forum member can only win one code per season.
  • Codes cannot be sold or transferred (once assigned, registered) and have zero value. Winner names and contact info will be sent to MotoVid for each event, so nobody else will be able to use them.
  • Codes cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or offers
  • Codes can only be used for events on their assigned dates.
  • Codes must be processed at MotoVid.com in advance of the event.

A HUGE thanks to MotoVid for working with us to make this all happen this year. Here's to a great season at the track!

The first event is coming up April 30, so watch for details on that soon. :ride:

Point of clarification on these drawings...if you want to register for an event but have entered the drawing for that day, you don't have to wait to register. If you've already registered for that event, MotoVid will refund your registration fees if you win.

To win? No.

To ride?...I'm guessing yes.

Due to additional costs involved, MotoVid has had to discontinue their policy of issuing direct refunds for winners who have already registered for an event. This does not mean you're going to be stuck with a free day you can't use, however - they will work with you to get something figured out. I don't have info on what all your options will be at the moment, but MV has always been great about working to find solutions that work for everyone involved.

Their flexibility has been great as I ran into that situation. Did indeed work out an excellent alternative option. Communication was timely as well. They handle us riders like customers, unlike some organizations of eras gone by.
Shitty planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Sportbiker's tips on what not to do when you want to sell something:
Post an artistic picture where your bike takes up 5% of the area.
"Price firm but willing to negotiate."
