What did you do to your bike today?

If it's on two wheels, it goes here.

Not today but last week I unpacked it from the garage, found it would not start so I had to get a charger/tender and after sitting overnight got it started. Rode it to get gas and its been sitting ever since =[

Outside today, the weather bites. I'm hoping to get more saddle time tomorrow. By the way, was running down Devil's Glen tonight and saw a QCSB sticker on someone's gray(?) Toyota sedan. Couldn't make out who that was...

Also slightly old update on the SV...finished rebuilding forks, swapped out the triple tree, got my shock back from the awesome folks at TSE, got a bunch of replacement parts from Woodcraft, and got my new front master cylinder from Magura. Now it's down to reassembling everything and doing some bodywork repair/painting. Got just over a month before go-time so I should probably actually start getting the rest of that stuff done soon. :crash:

New tires for the street ride arrived today...just gotta get them mounted. Was going to toss up a sale PSA since Revzilla was closing out the old model Dunlop Q3s for dirt cheap (got this set for $210), but apparently they're all gone now.

We're finally being threatened with warmer weather! I generally don't ride until it's at least 60F out, so we're getting pretty close. I started replacing the damaged fairing tonight and will finish it up tomorrow. Also received the replacement bar end this past weekend. It was also damaged when I dropped the bike, and I'll do that soon as well. I now have 3 vehicles in the garage taken apart or broken at some level. Starting the season off well.

Some random pictures of the simple fairing swap.

I just now noticed when looking at the photos that the stickers aren't the same. That's going to drive me nuts!!! Now I have to research what in the world that's about.

Looks like the decals changed at some point mid 2015 when I purchased the bike, and technically have 2016 decals. Fairing is being returned to BikeBandit and I'll order the correct one. Going to put the original fairing back on for now so I don't have to ride the bike with one side naked. 8-)

Maybe I'll get started on replacing the bar end tonight...

My old 636 ended up being quite the Frankenbike from this kind of perspective, though I admit it was always the same on both sides. Man I like that red trellis
