What did you do to your bike today?

If it's on two wheels, it goes here.

Recharged the air filter and continued the work on fixing my busted tail light. Lots of gorilla epoxy and gorilla double sided tape. Should be done tomorrow morning.

After a rather trying ordeal with extracting a seized front header bolt, I finally got the new Hindle full exhaust on the SV and went racing this weekend. Even without a tune on it, there was a noticeable power bump over the stock headers with that scheisty Two Brothers slip-on. Looking forward to getting this thing on the dyno soon.

Weekend weather at Road America was spotty as hell, with the heavens opening up on us just as my Saturday race was on our sighting lap. Ended up scrubbing that one since I didn't bring rains along, but I did get to race Sunday in Lightweight Superbike. Didn't quite make my lap time goals, with a fairly green track during that race not helping the cause a ton. Had a couple good scraps through the race though, so I had a ton of fun. Looking forward to getting back to Road America again on Monday. :wheelie:

Prepped the Daytona for Road America on Monday. Pulled the mirrors, installed blank plates where the holes are, taped the lights, and pulled the fuses. Went to bleed the brakes with Motul600 and noticed the front pads were a bit low. Picking up a spare set of pads at a dealer in IA City on Sat morning. Otherwise, it's ready to go.

I rode it to work again for the first time in a few days. I was sorely missing being on the road.. and just happened to just barely catch up to two riders going north on 74 in Moline crossing the bridge. I got off at the exit right as I got behind them. Gave a wave and they waved back. Would be dope if they were on here.

I redid the garage door opener mod on the bike. Such a huge QoL improvement.

Now I need to figure out what happened to my left side frame slider cap. =\

Just did some simple prep work this past weekend for the track day at BlackHawk Farms on Friday. Too many projects going on in the garage, so wheeled the bike out into the driveway to get some work done. Brakes feel MUCH better after getting rid of the over 2yr old OEM fluid and flushing with Motul 600.

I finally got the Bazzaz FI onto the bike. It certainly is different, seemingly smoother but kinda hard to tell. One thing that I'm a bit worried about is that occasionally the tach needle drops to zero. I hate those inline splicers, they always suck.

While it was apart I cleaned and waxed all the bodywork.

This is going to be a busy winter, though. Suspension needs at least a refresh, ideally a replace. Valves need to be done. And I need to take the exhaust apart and properly seal it. Rear brake pads are done, though Caz has the award for pads furthest gone.

Do you have the Z-AFM unit for self-tuning? If not, I'd let you borrow mine if you wanted.

Yes, that would be awesome! Hadn't even thought of that, I'll be in touch.
