NEW NINJA

Postby TLSR381 » Tue Apr 09, 2013 7:06 pm

This beautiful 2010 Ninja 650 joined our stable on Saturday. Came home with about 1930 miles. The only non-stock piece on it is the touring screen. We purchased it from Struthers Brothers in Des Moines, IA. The bike had one owner previously, who traded it in for a Harley at the Harley dealership down the road from Struthers.

Best part of the deal? The totally awesome bell I got to ring after it was finalized!

New levers (Pazzo) have been ordered, along with frame sliders. Additional bits will be coming later.

What the world needs now, is more purple and lime green.

Haven't gotten many pics of the SV since I picked it up a couple months ago.

Here she is in original form, as I picked it up (skid marx...yep, that's mine)

2 weeks later after a GSXR front end swap, tightened some bolts and a coat of paint.

2 more weeks later with some new bodywork, subframe, tail section, and some more race goodies...also moments before the motor kaboomed (yes, the seat is upside down in the photo...no, that had nothing to do with the motor exploding).

Roads around here aren't a whole lot better. Some of the streets around my house look like a damned war zone.

You tell an admin what you want your new username to be, then they change it....so....what do you want your username to be?
