RS Taichi Yellow Vegas suit, 54/44

Postby Sportbiker » Fri Nov 13, 2015 9:39 pm

Selling my RS Taichi Vegas suit in size 54EU 44US. Suit has been used on the track and has some rash from a crash (pics) but if I hadn't gotten a better fitting RST replacement I'd be in it through the rest of my riding life. They're basically bullet proof and considered top-of-the-line brand and this model was frequently used by regional racers. I've never read of someone crashing in a Taichi and a seam coming apart.

It comes with an inner suit to make putting it on and taking it off far simpler. There are some tears in the inner suit but nothing that makes using it difficult in any way. The inner suit also has an inside pocket which I've used to hold my phone for lap timing. The suit doesn't have that new smell anymore but doesn't smell like a locker room either; its "neutral." It will also come with a wide shoulder hangar to keep it nicely aired out.

Collar never was an issue, unlike cheaper suits.

I've annually cleaned and conditioned the leather so its still quite pliable. Never had any issues with it constricting my movements at all.

I'm 6' and 175# and it fit loosely. It would be better for someone more stocky than my size 40-ish chest and 31" waist. Taichi sizing chart for reference: https://www.motoliberty.com/size_chart.asp?SuppID=22

$500obo, plus shipping and fees if needed
Can deliver to Chicago (Thanksgiving or Christmas) or Milwaukee (Thanksgiving) area

Shitty planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Sportbiker's tips on what not to do when you want to sell something:
Post an artistic picture where your bike takes up 5% of the area.
"Price firm but willing to negotiate."
