CCS @ Autobahn, May 2-3

Well that was a hell of a weekend. We officially have three more licensed road racers on the forum. :banana-dance:

Lots of problems with both ShagzWife's bike and mine on Friday, including a fatal issue for hers, at least for the weekend. :( Better to find these things out at a track day than on race day, however, which is part of why we were there Friday. Fortunately our friend and pit-neighbor was willing to loan ShagzWife his spare bike to do her license clinic on, and then one race on in the end, all was not lost. I only got a couple sessions in on Friday due to my own bike issues, so I basically had to figure out the track in morning warm-up and my first couple races. As bleak as things were looking at one point on Friday, Saturday & Sunday turned out pretty great. I picked up a 3rd, a couple 4ths and 5ths, and a 6th, which makes for a nice points haul on the weekend. There are a lot of pretty quick guys in the Unlimited classes again this year -- it's going to be a tough one. ShagzWife finished 7th in Rookies Cup GTU on Sunday. I think it's fair to say she's massively excited for the rest of the season.
