Odd that they'd have that out before the first round at Autobahn has one up. :dunno:

Heard earlier today from another racer who talked to the CCS folks -- Autobahn rounds are running south course in May and north in August.

Is it just me or is there a lot less riding at BF this year?
Shitty planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Post an artistic picture where your bike takes up 5% of the area.

No, same number of rounds at Blackhawk as the past two years, just more rounds elsewhere as well. Two years ago it was only Blackhawk & Road America on the schedule, though -- it's really great to see us expanding back out to more tracks again, I think.

A few just-past-mid-season thoughts...

It's been an interesting season thus far to say the least...lots has happened. I've got my first goal (enough points to advance to expert) in the bag at this point, second one (top 3 in my classes) is still in progress, but looking good for the moment...currently top 3 in all of them, but I need to step up my game to make sure I stay there. raycecar50 has been in the lead in unlimited supersport all season long and has been riding like a total badass, but his van kinda screwed him this round so he wasn't at Autobahn. So now this is the current championship situation for that class:

That's me in first & raycecar50 in second, for those who don't know us IRL. I'm trying to enjoy that while I can, because I know it may be fleeting, but it still feels kinda nice to be there for a bit. I fully expect him to come back swinging hard this coming weekend and keep on winning, and I have to bring more to the table to try to keep him in sight. Only three rounds left, so this is going to be a really exciting end to the season. 10 points separating the top 3 is really tight.

The unlimited field is DEEP this year...I managed to get myself down to 1:10s at Autobahn North this weekend, which would have gotten me on the podium last year. Instead I was fighting with folks for 5th & 6th at that pace. Lots of fast guys on our grids.

Here's to the last three rounds...hard to believe we're a month and a half from the end. :wheelie:
