2016 plans

Postby TLSR381 » Mon Jan 04, 2016 1:33 pm

Anyone planning on going to a new track they've never been to? Shagz and I are hoping to finally make Brainerd, and Gingerman is still a possibility (we'll see). However Barber is still #1 on my list of places I want to go to.

Well I don't know about you, but there are points on the table so unless something totally stops me, I'm going to Gingerman. :)

I'd love to get to Jennings & Barber at some point though.

Yes. I'm hoping for a trip out East to hit VIR and a local track, back-to-back. Still sorting out the local schedules to see if that's possible.
Shitty planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Sportbiker's tips on what not to do when you want to sell something:
Post an artistic picture where your bike takes up 5% of the area.

Here's my tentative plan for the year. Awaiting word from out East on that trip. 13 hours.... jeez, better be worth it.

  • June 6-7 Road America with STT
  • May 30-31 Road America ZARS?
  • Aug 5-7 VIR Team Promotion
  • Sep 3-4 Blackhawk Farms Motovid (Wing Weekend!!!)

Not real sure I want to (or can) do two weeks of RA back-to-back, esp that early in the season.

Every track would be a new one for me! Been to numerous tracks with cars, but never a bike. I wouldn't mind doing something easy to start out, like RPM.

Is gingerman on the schedule for ccs this year? I didn't remember seeing it. I'm hoping to do autobahn this year which is new for me! I think a few less track days and more race podiums for this year!

Yeah, Labor Day weekend. Unfortunate scheduling.

Whoo hoo!! Glad to hear you're planning on racing! Autobahn is on the schedule twice, but at the banquet they said it will be two different configurations.

Booked my Saturday Sunday combo for holiday weekend. Plan to roll in Sat morning from the farm :doublebird: Planning to bring my mansion-of-a-tent as usual. Just ask for some space for that, not sure it matters where my trailer ends up. Sorry to say that my new lid does not continue the Captain America theme you all think I have going :moon:

Oh, if I need to haul something for someone they gotta speak up early. I could probably swing a second bike but have some modification to do this weekend to make that happen.
