Ride back roads Saturday June 18

Postby Sportbiker » Thu Jun 16, 2016 8:44 pm

So we bantered a bit about this, let's see who's up for it. My proposal, looking for counters and takers.

Saturday morning at 8a for ~2-3 hours. That enough time? Shagz, I have this feeling we usually do 4, but know some have time constraints.
Shitty planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

I can do 8a for 2-3 hours. That's actually perfect for my schedule.

I'm in. I find a good rule of thumb for rides like this is plotting about 50mi per hour of ride time, when you figure in breaks here & there. The Clinton-Charlotte loop is around 100mi, very doable in 2-3 hours. Not picky about route though, If you have anything in mind. Where do you want to meet?

Perhaps you just need a new nose? I hear they do transplants for those now

Seriously though, I know how much that sucks. Hope it clears up fast!

The Git-n-Go on the edge of town is the one I usually go for, not the BP in the middle of town. That would work just fine if you want to do Clinton & Charlotte -- it's right before the route start if you want to start on the IL end.

Sounds like a plan. GitNGo in Rapids City at 8a.

Saw you guys waiting outside the GitNGo this morning. Was running a bit behind and didn't have a chance to stop and say hi.

Hope all went well, catch you guys next time!
