Re: Bike night tonight, 12/20, CANCELED due to weather.

I tried to get out, but the wife Veto'd my departure. The main reason I could make it was because of the weather: kid events got cancelled.

Re: Newb mistake

No problem on the wait. I have the pitbulls that do both spooled and non-spooled because of the wife's bike, so I'm actually set. I would just prefer the spooled solution. Nifty idea there, though, hadn't thought of that before.

Re: Getting a newb onto the track

His gear consists of typical starting gear: dirt lid (I have a spare Shark he can borrow), standard street shoes/boots, basic leather jacket (probably not a riding-specific one). Not sure if he has gloves, but again I have a spare pair of those, and I actually have a spare pair of boots depending on...

Re: Racetech Suspension

I haven't done it myself on inverted forks, but I'm at least basically familiar with the process. I have a good friend who's a former bike mechanic that I'll be inviting over for help and beer whenever I need my crash course. I'm going to need to change fork oil before terribly long on my R1, thoug...

Re: Illinois eavesdropping law

There is a May Wired article on it that makes reference to the FBI's attempt to conduct unwarranted GPS tracking of vehicles but I recall that the SCOTUS struck that down. I'm a bit of a S...
