Re: Suomy experience?

Suomy's are awesome helmets. I can only speak to the Spec 1R-Extreme...but I've had 3 and they're still my favorite lid...plus the graphics are pretty sexy. You might also look at the HJC RPS-10...or whatever the current top of the line model is. They fit very similar to the Suomy...equally good lid...

Re: 2014 Schedule Watch

So here's my breakdown on MAM... - the track layout is pretty good, excellent mix of corners ranging from very technical to swoopy, knee draggy, wot good times. - there is 0 elevation change...like not even 1 inch. - track surface has gone down hill in the past few years. It is definitely slower tha...

Re: Post pics of your bike

Haven't gotten many pics of the SV since I picked it up a couple months ago. Here she is in original form, as I picked it up (skid marx...yep, that's mine) http://i.imgur.com/t8z8ev3h.jpg 2 weeks later after a GSXR front end swap, tightened some bolts and a coat of paint. http://i.imgur.com/Bgj6ZpV....

Re: Project 636

That SV sounds like its quite the beast. Surely enough for one man. That poor, poor 636 is just going to sit off in a corner, weeping, and reminiscing the days of yore..... The SV is a blast...but the Kawi will see her time on track again. She's getting a suspension overhaul over the winter and wil...

Re: Project 636

For what it's worth...the -2 braided lines on the SV with the 320mm GSXR rotors were AMAZING when it comes to braking power. The bike stopped so fast that it took me most of the practice day on Friday just to figure out what I needed for brake markers. I ended up doing 90% of my passing on the brake...

Re: Project 636

Next up...project SV650! So this means you're selling the 636.....? Whose braided lines did you use and does it matter? I've seen suggestion that it really is irrelevant but appears you did a lot of research in selection. Nope, I'm keeping the 636. The bike is set up way too well for me and I'm hav...

Re: Project 636

Alright, alright. It has been...a while...since I posted up about the build. I did eventually get the build done for everything but the shock (have a plan for now too). Here's the list of everything I've done: Vortex Clip-ons & Rearsets Off Brand Keyless Gas Cap (Vortex knock-off) Acumen Gear In...
