ride this weekend

Postby shagzomatic » Thu May 24, 2018 5:53 pm

So assuming the part gets here in the next day or two that was supposed to be here today (thanks USPS), I'll actually have a fully functional street bike again. Fresh tires and everything.

Anyone around and feel like spinning some miles?

I could do a ride tomorrow or Monday. Not sure on Sunday, it would depend on the time.

Assuming my package arrives this afternoon like it's now supposed to, I'd be OK for Sat afternoon or anytime Sun/Mon. If you or anyone else is interested, I'll work around your schedule.

Not looking for anything super serious, maybe a couple hours. I haven't been on the street since...maybe June last year?

Absolutely interested, and available all day tomorrow and Monday. Would be great to get a few more people, but I wouldn't mind a ride either way.

Part got here, forks are rebuilt. I officially have a working street bike again

So we're looking at temps in the low 90s tomorrow afternoon. You game for that, or do you want to push off to a morning run Monday when it won't be so hot?

I don't mind the heat one bit, but I've had a late night repairing a computer so I wouldn't be up for anything too early. Also, it would be great to see if anyone else wants to join too, though that doesn't seem likely with the lack of response so far.

Could probably make it to the QC area by 11am tomorrow. Otherwise, we can push it off till Monday morning to beat the heat and wait for others.

I'm not clear until after noon today, got someone coming by this morning. I'll poke a few folks directly, see if they're around etc.

Alright, so my morning thing ran longer than I thought, and it's already 90+ degrees according to my thermometer...I think I'm going to be a wimp and say I'd rather go Monday morning.

Want to say 9am somewhere? Git n Go in Rapids City, since that's a decent default? Open to other suggestions.

Rapids City on Monday at 9am sounds good, see you then! I don't have much for suggestions, since I don't know any of the fun roads in the area.
